Former safe-and-vault technician and operations leader will guide the New York company’s next phase
NEW YORK, October 5, 2026 — Empire Safe & Vault announced that Juan Morales has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective August 28, 2026, following his progression from Field Technician through operations leadership to the company’s top executive role. Joseph Nicosia has been named Chief Operating Officer as part of the same leadership transition.
Morales brings experience in business leadership, physical security, investigations, operations, and organizational development.
Before entering the private sector, Morales served in the United States Marine Corps in leadership and instructional roles and later served with the New York City Police Department. He holds a degree in business management with a concentration in organizational psychology and is continuing graduate studies in security management.
At Empire, Morales worked directly with safes, vaults, service operations, customers, technicians, and logistics. As CEO, he will focus on strengthening the company’s operations, developing its workforce, expanding its service and security capabilities, and growing strategic partnerships.
